Do You Know That It Is Good To Have Fear?

Why must we consider the fear as good?

When one speaks of the fear, I believe that the first thing that it is necessary to highlight that being afraid it is good, it is something necessary in our learning process, since it teaches us to avoid dangerous things as putting our fingers into the plug, to cross the street without looking to the sides, etc.

But the fear is not something natural, but rather it is something learned. The babes only fear two things:

* The strong noises

* To fall down

And their parents teach them to fear all the other things that they fear. I know that they do it with the intention of protecting the baby, although they sometimes exaggerate and end up raising fearful children.

Challenging Your Fears

Fear is one of the basic human emotions that drive us. Whether it's a fear of starvation, of dying, or simply of the unknown, we fear what we can not expect as well as the things we have come to expect in our lives. Too often, this fear is crippling, even damaging. Thus, many people have turned to medications to help soothe their basic fears or they ignore them completely, to their eventual downfall - mentally and physically. Fear can be a healthy thing and it is meant to be helpful - but only if you stop to learn from your fears.

What are You Afraid of?

For most of us, listing our fears is a daily routine we do in our heads when we wake up. We fear getting to work late, heading into too heavy of traffic, etc.

Learning To Overcome Your Fears

"Liberty or death" is a necessary law of soul growth . . . you will never be free from bondage or domination of others until you are free from fear . . . only you can break the chains that bind you . . . freedom under God is all good . . . you were born to be free . . . put your free will to work to gain the knowledge, experience and self-expression you desire.

Some helpful pointers to aid you in this quest for freedom are:

1. The door that leads into a prison also leads out - the door of thought.

2. Hunger for knowledge will never die, but rather increase in the Soul of man as time goes on. Our need for self-expression increases as we learn more and more.

What do you Fear? - Overcoming Fear Part I

"We Have Nothing to Fear but Fear Itself"
Franklin Theodore Roosevelt

Indeed fear is our greatest obstacle to happiness, peace and fulfillment on a personal, social and international level. All anger, hatred, prejudice, aggression, violence, and war can be ultimately attributed to fear.

Fear is the Mother of All Negative Emotions

From the moment we relinquished the security of our mother's womb and had our umbilical cord cut, we experienced separation, isolation, insecurity and fear.

We fear for our bodies and personalities because we know they are vulnerable and mortal. Out of fear, we seek to create some sense of security by ensuring that we have sufficient people, money, and objects, as well as a professional and social position, etc.

Regression Techniques

Memory regression techniques can be used to expose to the conscious mind the hidden sources of fear locked in the subconscious mind. Individuals, who have been severely paralyzed by unreasonable fears, have been cured upon the release into the conscious mind of those hidden traumatic memories. Many case histories are available concerning those who had been affected by experiences from the past.

Through hypnotic regression and other techniques, memories of the past and birth experiences have been uncovered in hundreds of thousands of people. Such techniques are being used today by psychologists and other mental health professionals seeking to help liberate those suffering from inexplicable fears or guilt.

The NLP communication model- a good starting point for therapy

NLP is an art and a science. It is based on the idea that the sensory information around us is translated into thoughts and ideas, which affect our state, physiology and behaviour and therefore our results. Our words also affect our experience and the experience of others. NLP teaches us how to use communication more effectively. NLP also tells us that we code or represent information to ourselves in certain ways. How we do code information varies between events we perceive as positive and negative. NLP teaches specific strategies and techniques that we can learn in order to represent this information differently to produce better results.
